community guidelines.

Please read carefully before submitting. These rules keep KidzMade safe, fair, and fun for every family.

Who can enter

Open to children ages 4–14 residing in the United States.
All entries must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older.
Children may not submit entries themselves.
One entry per child per contest cycle.
Parent or guardian must complete the full consent form at time of submission.

What your video must include

The child must appear on camera or be the primary voice in the video.
The video must feature a real, commercially available toy.
The child must clearly state their first name and age at the start of the video.
The video must be one of the following formats: unboxing, how-to, or toy review.
Video length must be between 30 seconds and 3 minutes.
The video must be filmed and submitted in English.

What your video must NOT include

No last names, home addresses, school names, or any other identifying information.
No other children may appear unless a separate signed consent form is submitted for each child.
No adults should appear on camera — this is a kids’ platform.
No background content that could identify location — no street signs, school names, or license plates visible through windows.
No copyrighted background music — use only original or royalty-free music. Copyrighted music will result in disqualification.
No references to pricing, purchasing, or where to buy the toy.
No sponsored or paid content of any kind — all reviews must reflect the child’s genuine opinion.
No content that was previously published on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or any other platform.

Content standards — always required

No profanity, name-calling, or unkind language of any kind.
No bullying, mocking, or negative comments about other people, brands, or products.
No violent, dangerous, or unsafe behavior of any kind.
No political, religious, or controversial content of any kind.
No content that is scary, disturbing, or inappropriate for young children.
All content must be kind, positive, and family-friendly. When in doubt, leave it out.

Video quality guidelines

Videos must be clearly visible and audible — very dark, blurry, or inaudible videos may be disqualified.
Videos must be filmed in landscape (horizontal) orientation.
Accepted file formats: MP4, MOV, AVI.
Maximum file size: 500MB.
Minimum recommended resolution: 720p.

Judging & voting

All eligible entries will be published on the KidzMade platform for community voting.
Voting is open to all site visitors — one vote per device per entry.
KidzMade reserves the right to remove entries that violate these guidelines at any time, including after voting has opened.
Winners are determined by community vote — KidzMade does not select winners.
In the event of a tie, KidzMade reserves the right to make a final determination.
KidzMade’s decision on all contest matters is final.

Content rights

By submitting, the parent or guardian grants KidzMade a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, share, and promote the video on the KidzMade website and social media channels.
The child and family retain full ownership of the video.
KidzMade will always credit the video to the child’s first name and age only.
KidzMade may share winning videos with brand partners for promotional purposes.
Parents may request removal of their child’s video at any time by emailing hello@kidzmade.com.

Disqualification

Entries will be immediately disqualified for any of the following:

Violating any of the content standards above.
Submitting on behalf of a child outside the eligible age range.
Submitting more than one entry per child per cycle.
Providing false information on the submission form.
Any attempt to manipulate the voting process.
Any entry that KidzMade determines, in its sole discretion, is not in the spirit of the contest.

📋  Privacy reminders for parents

Watch the entire video before submitting and check the background carefully for any identifying information.
Make sure no documents, mail, or personal information is visible anywhere in the frame.
If your child mentions their last name, school, or address at any point, please re-film that section before submitting.
KidzMade moderates all submissions before they go live — this typically takes 1–3 business days.
